PITTSBURGH, March 16, 2015 - 360fly Inc., the category creator in 360 degree digital products, today announced the signing of professional surfer Carissa Moore. As a partner and brand ambassador, Moore will capture her life, on and off the board, in never-before-seen 360 degrees.

At the age of 22, Moore has tallied 13 total career WCT wins and solidified her career as one of the best of all time. Most recently, Moore kicked off 2015 by winning the Roxy Pro Gold Coast and defeating reigning World Champion Stephanie Gilmore.

“When I first saw 360fly, I thought ‘that’s a camera?’ When I first saw how you interact with the 360fly video - I was blown away,” said Moore. “I thought about how fun it’s going to be to watch and share videos that allow viewers to select what direction they want to look. Viewers will be able to look down the barrel or back at me, and essentially could watch the same video 100 times and have a different experience each time.”

Finishing her first season in 2010, the Hawaiian native finished third - earning her Rookie of the Year. She went on to win two ASP World Championships - the first being in 2011 when she was just 18 years old, making her the youngest female to ever be crowned world champion. In 2013, Moore was named one of Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year, and in 2014 she was inducted to the Surfers’ Hall of Fame.

Carissa Moore is an unbelievable talent, fierce competitor, and genuinely enjoys what she does,” said Alan Pitney, CEO of 360fly. “The passion and excitement she brings to the sport is second to none, and we’re honored to have her part of our team, shooting her work in 360 degrees and sharing it for the fans to experience.”
