#FlyTour Diaries – Beast of the East

Over the last week, we’ve hit up various spots up and down the East Coast at a break-neck pace. Starting in New Orleans and finishing in Vermont with 4 additional stops in as many days, we met with locals and watched them tear up parks, beaches andparties capturing it all in 360 degrees.

Kicking it off in New Orleans, we found ourselves in the middle of Mardi Gras, showered with beads, beers and boo…ah better not. We jumped from parades to bars meeting with people from all over the nation. Including these guys…

We got up the next day, crushed some beignets and set our GPS for Atlanta. Greeted by snow and 30-degree weather, Hotlanta didn’t quite live up to its name. We hit up an indoor skate park and met an excited group ready to get their hands on a camera few had ever seen before.

After a solid night of skating, we picked up the pieces of all the minds that were blown by our camera and jumped in the Jeep to head down to Florida. The team immediately dropped in on Kona Skatepark in Jacksonville, quickly following that up with their first surf session of the tour in Palm Beach, FL. Local surfers soon discovered 360fly isn’t just any camera.

The next morning, the crew dusted the sand off our gear and jumped in a plane heading north to visit the big apple and the garden state in the same day. To say that local skaters and BMX riders held it down for their home parks, The Bridge Skatepark and 5050 Skatepark, is an understatement. Just see for yourself…

We wrapped up the East Coast leg of the tour in snow-covered Vermont where the crew hit the slopes at Sugarbush Resort. We met with snowboarders and skiers anxious to carve up some fresh powder using 360fly. They did not disappoint and put on a show in the terrain park.

13 states covered and 7 days later, the East Coast leg of the tour is in the books. Thanks to all the people who showed us love along the way and keep an eye out for all the bonus footage once it’s ready!

In the meantime, we’ve got our eyes set on the Wild West and the tasty waves that await us…
