Senior Optical Engineer

360fly is seeking an experienced senior optical engineer to help us achieve our goal of transforming the way people shoot and share videos.  As a 360fly engineer you will work closing with the entire engineering team to design and develop our product portfolio.

General Description

• Generation of very wide lens concepts
• Simulation of very wide angle lens designs
• Tolerance analysis using Montecarlo methodology or other statistical tools
• Analyze effects of protective coatings
• Drive and support the development of prototypes and production units

Work Experience Requirements

• 6+ years experience in lens design
• Deep working knowledge of Zemax
• Experience with factory introduction of new products
• Fisheye lens design experience highly desirable
• Experience with test and metrology of lens and lens assemblies
• Self-driving and motivated to operate in a highly dynamic environment

Education Requirement(s)

• MS in Optics
