Mobile Application Developer (Android)

Hi, we're 360fly, a Pittsburgh-based company focused on helping people connect to the world through innovative & immersive 360-videos.  We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to help us achieve our goal of transforming the way people shoot and share videos.

As a 360fly Engineer you will work closely with our firmware and web development to design and build our 360fly Android apps.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience
• Expertise in native app development using Java, Dalvik and Android SDK
• Expertise with media APIs (Android Media Framework / Stagefright)
• Candidate must possess expertise with the Android platform and be conversant with developers focusing on other mobile platforms

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of video & streaming technologies and standards such as H.264, AAC and RTSP
• Experience with OpenGL and OpenGL ES
• Expertise in low-level networking (TCP/UDP) as well as higher level protocols (HTTP/REST)
• ​Experience with code in other languages such as C++, Python, and Objective-C
• Experience with Git and Gitflow as it pertains to team coding
